What is the Venus Factor?
The Venus Factor is a diet plan popular with women because it centers on reshaping a woman's body by using her metabolism to make it work. The diet is based on a concept called “the Venus index”. This Venus index is a formula for calculating your optimal measurements and is determined by taking your waist, hip, and height measurements and combining them into your unique body shape.
Ideally, your waist measurement should be 38% of your height. So, for example, if you were 5' 9" tall which is 69 inches, your perfect waist measurement would be 38% of that, or 26.22 inches. To calculate your ideal hip measurement you just multiply your ideal waist size by 1.42 in this case 37.23. If you want the whole picture, the shoulder measurement is calculated by multiplying the waist measurement by 1.618, or in our case 42.42 inches.
